Alberta AAIP Draw: 575 Alberta Opportunity Stream Invitations — September 1, 2026

Alberta held an Alberta Opportunity Stream draw on September 1, 2026, issuing 575 invitations to apply. The minimum score of invited candidates was 56.

Compared with the previous Alberta Opportunity Stream draw on August 14, which issued 743 invitations at a minimum score of 58, this round invited 168 fewer candidates while the minimum score was 2 points lower. That is useful short-term context, but it should not be read as a province-wide score trend because AAIP runs different streams for different labour-market priorities.

AAIP states that its draws are not regularly scheduled and that EOI score is not the only factor used to select candidates.
